cremaster’s a project whose work had a great impact on me when I first heard sometime ago their “flysch” cd on g3g records. sometime later the greek antifrost label (www.antifrost.gr) issued their superb “infra” cd which turned out to be the cremaster release to set absurd’s central on fire, a cd which was bringing in mind some of absurd’s most beloved projects both from the what so called improvised music scene (of the 70’s/80’s) but also from the more (nihilistic) noise one of the 80’s/early 90’s. their mCD on sound323 (www.sound323.com) turned to be in a more “subtle” mood showing a different aspect of their work. and now in “32,41 n/m2” alfredo costa monteiro & ferran fages utilizing their objects on electric guitar & feedback mixing board via a laptop provide us four new sonic adventures in a more noisier mood which shows another aspect of the project’s universe. housed in a sandpaper cover.
